Impact of Preceded Tumor Therapeutic Irradiation on the Microtensile Bond Strength of Universal Adhesives Applied in Self-Etch Mode to Human Dentin In Vitro

چکیده

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect preceded tumor therapeutic irradiation on tensile bond strength three modern universal adhesives applied in self-etch mode dentin. Specimens prepared from 135 extracted human third molars were divided into superior groups. These received either no radiation, 5 Gy, or a total dose 60 Gy vitro irradiation, fractionally applied. samples each group further randomly assigned six subgroups test (Futurabond® U, Voco; AdheSE® Universal Ivoclar Vivadent; Xeno® Select, Dentsply Sirona) application (n = 15). Tensile determined using testing machine (1.0 mm/min). Data analyzed with ANOVA (p < 0.01) and Tukey’s 0.05). influence microtensile used dentin proved be significant. For material, decrease adhesion value registered after irradiation. However, only for material Select significantly reduced values compared 0 Gy. Within limitations an study, some effects could observed. Those decreases partly significant, depending radiation dose. Whether irradiated depends particular (etch-and-rinse vs. self-etch) remains investigated.

Effect of long-term water aging on microtensile bond strength of self-etch adhesives to dentin.

PURPOSE To evaluate the effect of water storage on the microtensile dentin bond strength of one total-etch and four self-etching adhesives to dentin. METHODS The adhesive materials were: one total-etch adhesive (Admira Bond) and four self-etch adhesives (Clearfil S tri Bond, Hybrid Bond, Futurabond NR, Adhe SE). Freshly extracted human third molar teeth were used. For each tooth, dentin was e...
